Every now and then I need to read a story that makes me smile. eolianbeck's lovely "The DoD" gives me a warm glow because I can see the characters of the West Wing doing something just like this. I can't explain more about the story (Sam has a plan. Sam has a secret plan) without ruining the surprise, but eolianbeck has a deft touch and a great feel for the characters of the show, and this fic (set post Noel) is not to be missed.
