Why this must be read:

Justin will look up, and he'll do that thing where he's trying not to smile too hard because he's afraid that Brian will take the shiny gift away. It will make Brian feel like a huge shit, as usual.

Everyone's getting married, and Brian watches it with his regular disdain. That is, until he realises he's married too. The story builds slowly, from the feeling of second season and onwards. I've always loved the way kel styles her stories, so that all the cards aren't shown at the beginning and you almost have to work to get to the end. The resolution is compact and well-formed, and like many writers in this fandom, her Brian characterisation is wonderful.
