Why this must be read: Connor Connor CONNOR! In the words of the mystical vampire cult that tried to eat him when he was still inside his twice-dead mother, he's the miracle chiyuuullld. Born of two vampires, snatched by a time-travelling dwarf with a deeply portentous voice, raised in the worst hell dimension of them all (although presumably it had food and air and stuff so I think that might be a bit of marketing blurb), father of the corporealisation of a PTB, and, understandably, a fruit loop of epic proportions.
Dude, you think your parents are trying to control your life? The universe is out to get Connor. And it never lets up and he can never escape.
Connor has three daddies, and not in a fluffy, Hollywood movie way. This story, set in season five, explores those three lives, two that happened and one that didn't, the families he has and the people that made him. It's about memories, experiences, and how they shape us. It's about taking control. It's great. It's Connor.

It’s strange, now, as those dual memories wash over him when he relaxes enough to allow them the freedom of his mind. Tries to sort through the real and non-real, tries to decide which had more right to being.
They’re both so authentic; this isn’t like science fiction, where one reality has a better hold than the other. He can smell the chalk and nervousness of his first day of school, and he can smell the burnt dust smell of Quortoth. He hears the teacher singing the alphabet even as he hears Holtz repeating the Ten Commandments and outlining how Angelus broke each one.
He remembers them with equal clarity.

'Fitter, happier, more productive' and 'Deliverance' which are in the memories are also good.
