ds_noticeboard announcing it a few days ago. Well, after I read it I just knew I had to rec it during my turn here as DS driver. Most of my recs this time around are sort of "classics" (in the sense of having been around for a while), but I always love to get a chance to rec a new story.
This story's premise is a variation on the "five things" challenge that has been floating around through most fandoms for several years now. The title is pretty self explanatory. Four alternate universes, four ways that Fraser and RayK could have ended up meeting, but didn't. I am a complete sucker for AU's. I love seeing how characters lives could have turned out. The various ways that the world could have been, but wasn't. I really love howlyra_sena really took bits of canon and skewed them off into a whole new world. Each one is only a glimpse of a possible way their lives could have gone, but all seem so real and fully developed. The guys are still the characters we know and love. Just a little different.
This is a great story that everyone should check out. Then go tell the author how much you loved it.
