Bring Two Sunsets by Sazz (PG)
Fandom: STARGATE SG-1
Pairing: Daniel/other, though the pairing isn't central to the story
Author on LJ: Unknown
Author Website: Dulceus ex Aspiris: Stargate Fanfic
Why this must be read: This story is an excellent example of beautiful writing. It's wonderfully descriptive. Daniel is forced to make an emergency escape through the Stargate and finds himself on, what he believes is a deserted island. Sazz eloquently details Daniel's inner conflict with losing hope and feeling despair. She outlines his determination in trying to find his way back home and then his final acceptance that this, indeed, could very well be where he spends the rest of his life.
Although there is an original character in this story, it's not about them. This story is about Daniel and what he endures being separated, possibly forever, from the life he created for himself at the SGC.

Thank You...
If all fic was that compelling, I'd be a *very* happy bunny...
Re: Thank You...
I loved this fic from the first two paragraphs. I'm somewhat of a Daniel-fic hound anyway, and to me, this is one of the best Daniel-fics out there. You're very right in that it is compelling. I'm very glad you liked it.
