Very happy to find a rec about this author who, sadly, seems to have disappeared from the fandom (or is this story a new one?, I thought I had read all her works in Files 40).

I really like her style and plots, as well as her characterisations and the way she describes the relations between the partners, endowing NS with seniority and and authority but leaving all his independance of mind and superior skills to IK.

I hope this one is conform to the pattern; I am going to print it for the weekend; thanks for the link (it does work for me)
