Why this must be read: This is my gen long fic recc. It is a very well written adventure. Being new to MFU fan fic, there is a lot to explore. I really enjoyed this one. Illya suffers, the MFU crew does all the necessary and exciting things to find and rescue him, and there are some lovely intersting original characters. It brings back how I felt watching the show, and how I always wanted more information and longer adventures. This is that.

Also, I apologize for being late getting started. I was having computer problems. I'm really enjoying recc'ing MFU. It was such a big part of my pre-teen years. It is great to see all the fic out there, and enjoy the memories.

Very happy to find a rec about this author who, sadly, seems to have disappeared from the fandom (or is this story a new one?, I thought I had read all her works in Files 40).

I really like her style and plots, as well as her characterisations and the way she describes the relations between the partners, endowing NS with seniority and and authority but leaving all his independance of mind and superior skills to IK.

I hope this one is conform to the pattern; I am going to print it for the weekend; thanks for the link (it does work for me)
