Oh my god. Whatever. Fuck this shit by Lalejandra (NC-17)
Fandom: THE OC
Pairing: Summer/Seth Summer/Ryan
Author on LJ:
lalejandra
Author Website: FanFic
Why this must be read: On screen we rarely see Ryan and Summer alone. It has become more and more obvious over time that the pairing could be interesting if explored in the right way.
This fanfic takes the pairing and blends them together beautifully in well detailed writing of how not so different the characters are. They both come from very different backgrounds but are capable of finding a common ground. The story delves into each of their pasts while explaining why it affects their present.
Beautifully written with burning kisses and clawing passion.
“I never got to call her mama,” he continues. “She hated being reminded that she was just like everyone else in our neighborhood. She hated being from Chino, hated having children.”
The Chino remark is a direct hit, and Summer feels kind of bad. She must really actually have PMS or something, because why else would she care that Ryan didn’t have the best childhood ever? It does suck, she knows it sucks, but he seems to be the most well-adjusted of them all, so she can’t feel too badly for him.
“Theresa’s mother, though… I’d go over there and sit at their kitchen table and eat rice and beans until I thought my stomach would explode and then we’d eat tortillas that were fried and covered in honey and melted chocolate, and then we’d eat quesadillas dripping with spicy cheese…”
Summer feels herself getting hungrier, her mouth watering, her appetite coming back—and she breathes in air warmed by Ryan’s neck, tries to focus more on his words, but his body following the line of hers is distracting her.
