Why this must be read:

There is just something so very, very right about Jack/Boone and this story perfectly explores how a relationship between the two of them might happen. It's not about a happily ever after type of love because they aren't living happily ever after types of lives, it's about, as the title says, people making do, and how making do can sometimes be a beautiful thing. It's also pretty damn hot.

I just love the characterizations of both Jack and Boone in this story. Normally, I'm not the biggest fans of either of them, but I care about them in this story. I love their conversations and I want them to find a way to be happy. This story is also fabulous for its details. I love reading about the other relationships on the island and how all the other characters are finding their own way of 'making do.'

It's really just an amazing story all around that made me smile the whole way through.
