Here’s another bit of crack!fic, and it’s a doozy, as you can probably tell from the author’s notes:

I have amnesia.
I drank some tainted water.
I received a blow to the head. A lyra-shaped blow.
I ate some poison fish.
Somebody slipped a mickey into my beer.
I was hypnotized.
It's not my fault.

You think wing!fic is weird? Try “feathercock.” Yes, you read that correctly. No, it has nothing to do with the Anita Blake series. I’m pretty sure this is the only piece of fanfiction ever to include the phrase, it’s like watching a chicken deflate. There’s also a lot of sweetness and some mild bondage and a surprisingly attractive-sounding homemade lube.

Fortunately this story, previously only available as a locked post in lynn’s journal, is now archived at her site. Go. Marvel. Laugh your head off.

You’re welcome! I started reading dS fic before I’d ever seen an episode, and I’ve been amazed at how well many of the stories capture the flavor of canon. (This may be due to my reliance of rec lists; I’m sure crap!fic exists in this fandom as in all others, but so far I’ve managed to dodge it.)
