She offers us a travesty of possibility in the post Season 4 world, before Peacekeeper Wars answered our questions, offers war and battle and identity and a choice that is nothing if not terribly unfair. What if, in one of those unrealized realities, there was another John Crichton who didn't die, who's living a life where Aeryn did. Two paths mildly divergent, yet coming together with devastating possibilities, which Stars offers up and allows to hang and burn in the readers mind, the possible future as open to the characters as to the readers.
