The Ties That Bind by Taliesin (NC17)
Fandom: THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.
Pairing: Napoleon Solo/Illya Kuryakin
Author on LJ: unknown
Author Website: Taliesin's Reach
Why this must be read: Napoleon and Illya work very close in this story, giving the title a double meaning as the two men come to realize they are tied together in more ways than the obvious. Both journeys, across country and toward a deeper relationship, are equally well written. There's plenty of excitement as the two agents flee for their lives, yet always there's the banter, a trademark of this particular partnership, that added to my enjoyment as it both hid, yet made blatantly obvious, their mutual affection. And I was delighted by the plot twist I never saw coming.

As a rule I completely agree with your choices. Could you by chance find some I didn't read already?

It's not often that something in a story can take me that much by surprise. It truly added to my enjoyment of the story.

That's nice to hear. :-)

I wish I could because it's always the greatest feeling to turn someone on to a story. But my time is almost up; I have one more for tomorrow and then the van gets turned over to someone else.
