Why this must be read:

I love character background stories, especially those that give us a glimpse of the person in the prime of their careers. Set in Starfleet Academy, this story introduces us to a young Kirk as well as Gary Mitchell, Finnegan, Ruth and a couple of sparkling OC's. Readers familiar with Jungle Kitty's other stories already know and love Suzanne Brandt, and she's absolutely hysterical in this tale. This is one of my favorite 'fun' fics and I find myself going back to it time and again whenever I need a smile.
