Why this must be read:
The final three Horatio Hornblower recs for the month of June deal with the deaths of major characters. Two are set in the A&E movieverse adaptations and one is set in book canon. All three are missing scenes.
This fic falls in the DKU category (Dead Kennedy Universe) and it is the one and only Hornblower fic from this writer. She should only write more. A poignant missing scene from the A&E adaptation of the Lt. Hornblower novel as Lt. Kennedy prepares himself to give evidence at the court martial of Horatio Hornblower.
