Shaking It Off by Penny Proctor (aka EJ Andrews) (G)

Fandom: STAR TREK ENTERPRISE
Pairing: none
Author on LJ: none
Author Website: EJ's Voyager Stories
Why this must be read:

Penny is best known for her Voyager stories (like the classic Revisionist History), but this lone foray into ENT is noteworthy as well. A vignette set in "Broken Bow", the character voice is astonishingly on target. Hoshi Sato comes alive for the reader like she rarely did on screen, and the sense of excitement at the outset of Enterprise's mission--as well as the danger--is clearly felt.

This is my last rec of the month, so I'll close by saying I hope you've all enjoyed these stories as much as I have.

Rocky,
Thanks for reccing all these stories. I'm getting nostalgic for Voyager and these were great to read again.

Dude, how can I NOT love a fic that contains the phrase "The difference between an apico-deltal fricative and a lamino-alveolar fricative can be the difference between welcome compliment and deadly insult,"

*dies of orgasmic linguistic joy*

Thank you for a great run of Trek, especially the Voyager fics, and this little gem.
