Why this must be read: Hi, I'm driving the van for X-Men this month. I am super late with my first rec because of technical difficulties I encountered here in RL. I'll try to make up for that with a few extra recs (while avoiding spamming this comm). My job is made easier this month since the second round of entries at the xmmficathon were just posed on the 1st. Anyway, I tend to like short, plotless slash so that's what I mostly rec. But I will make a concerted effort to mix it up a bit. But first a short, hot thoughtful piece by kynical. This Eric/John or Magneto/Pyro. Don't let the pairing scare you. This is a sweet lyrical peek into John's head. It's lovely.
