Why this must be read:
I wanted give an Alien!Clark rec this month, and this short story is my choice: Clark has a reaction to a spice, and it affects him like sex pollen, so he feels an irresistible impulse to have sex with Lex. This is a bit h/c, in just the measure I like. There are non-con overtones, but there's still some sweetness in this story, so I wouldn't call it dark, exactly.
