Jack Doesn't by gabby_silang (PG-13)
Hi, I'm
nickeyb and I will be driving the Lost van for this month. Although primarily a Charlie fan, I have tried to grab together a selection of fics that I hope will be a good cross-section of characters for the whole fandom. I've been collecting a little list for a while and I love them all - I hope you will too :)
Fandom: LOST
Pairing: None in particular
Author on LJ:
gabby_silang
Author Website: designer (intelligence)
Why this must be read:
Jack's voice is so good in this, and in particular I think his discussion with Locke sums up their positions perfectly. But mostly I love the quiet feel and the flow, and then all the cleverness that sneaks in when you're not looking. It makes me like Jack, and dare I say it, even understand him a little. I read this when I'm feeling particularly exasperated with his pig-headedness, and it settles me right down.
