Why this must be read: Continuing the theme of classic stories, this is one of my favourites. Many people simply know it as the "Mouse Fic" or the "Porn Star Cap" fic. It's got both. It's also got really funny banter between Clark and Lex, a relaxed friendship that's (mostly) overcome the secrets still between them, and a great transition from comedy to hot first-time fumblings. It's really a shame Wendi's no longer active in the Smallville fandom; she's a fantastic writer.

Clark glanced down, shaking his head when he saw Mouse scamper up Lex's leg and over a hip. A quick swipe and he'd trapped the mouse against Lex's crotch and--oh. Lara Croft, Clark Kent or Fortune 500? Clark wondered which one was most likely to give Lex an erection, heat washing over his face when he realized three things: he wasn't moving his hand, Lex wasn't blinking, and Mouse--was starting to squirm.

This is such a great story, that I can't believe it hasn't been recced before! I laugh out loud every time I read. Great pick.

I was really surprised to see it wasn't on the list - especially because people always seem to be looking for it. It's one of my absolute faves.

That was fantastic, simply fantastic. :) Loved every minute of it, and I can see why you wondered why no one had recced it before. But thanks so much -- seriously, everything was fantastic, and I can't even add anything specific. :P Though the mouse came close to getting a special mention. ;)

Glad you liked the rec. What are you looking for in a Clex icon? I play around a bit when I'm bored. I might be able to come up with something for you.

I don't know really. Something that's not too complex, but not too simple either, if that makes sense. Something which is just with the two of them, maybe, and some indication of their relationship, like a quote, or a certain look? Lol, I really don't know, I'm afraid. *sheepish grin* Not at all helpful, I know, but if you ever did find the time to play around, I'd really appreciate it. It's harder to find some than I originally thought!
