Why this must be read:
I think I like this because the hinted Charlie/Shannon is not a pairing you usually find, but it fits so very well, at least in this context. This is Shannon's first few days on the island, and I love her voice in this, and the calm almost diary style of reportage appeals to my common sense. It's not likely that Shannon would keep her head when all her about her are losing theirs out of any good or pure motives, but she still manages to do it, in this fic, and I think that that's great. Go Shannon! :) Spoilers up to Tabula Rasa.
