Why this must be read:

Elijah/Viggo is my super sekrit fic kink. I love the dynamic between the two men, 23 years apart, and the way that they relate to each other on several levels. Shaenie's Elijah is the perfect mixture of innocent and jaded, while her Viggo is (understandably) conflicted and shadowed. Here, Elijah's keen observational skills help him understand things in Viggo that might otherwise go unseen.

Elijah sat on a picnic table behind Orlando's trailer, legs dangling off the side, the legs of his Frodo-trousers rolled up past the knee. He was in full Frodo mode, except for his feet (which they hadn't needed today, hooray for an extra hour and a half of blissful unconsciousness), which were sneaker clad, laces dangling loose and caked in mud. He was drinking chocolate milk through a hot pink straw with three loops and a squiggle. The straw was Dom's idea of a joke. So was the milk, for that matter.

Elijah made a mental note never to ask Dom to 'mix' him up a drink again.

This is going to make me sound like EVERY form of perve going but this pairing is my secret fic kink, too. And I particularly enjoyed the Lolita reference in this too;) Which is EXACTLY what it is!!!!

When I was putting together this rec, I thought about saying something about how much I love V/E fics that paint Elijah as the more experienced member of the pairing, but then I realized that I also really love fics wherein Viggo seduces Elijah. I really like my Vig/Lij in most forms (and especially when you throw in a little Orlando). ;)

Primarily I'm a Vig/Beaner. Always have been from the start.

But I got 'corrupted' by the idea of Vig and Elijah together....anyway that it happens. *blushes* I can't even remember the bloody story that I first read. It's SO annoying....other than that Vig was comforting him on his ranch in Idaho. Think both of them were experiencing break ups of some kind. It was a WIP, too and then I couldn't find it *curses*

That story doesn't ring any particular bells with me (although the bit about the ranch in Idaho and the break up sounds a little like Burn (http://www.livejournal.com/community/crack_van/275291.html), but that's not V/E, it's Elijah/Astin). I'm primarily a Vig/Orli person, but while I can't really read Orli with anyone but Vig, I can read Vig with any of the Hobbits (except for Astin, whom I really can't read at all) and with Bean.
