Why this must be read:

Elizabethtown is being released this weekend (shut up, I'm excited even if you're not), and this is set just as Elizabethtown wraps. Orlando takes the long way home, and he did actually drive across the U.S. of A. after shooting wrapped, I hear, and if he didn't do it just as this story says he did, he should have.

Min is a wonderful writer, with a control of emotion I find remarkable, and reading this is almost guilt-inducing: this is private. This is Orlando Bloom, and can't we give him any space at all? That, after all, is what he treasures in this story, and that is why it is a treasure.

(And my slasher's heart insists that there's mad hot monkey sex after the last paragraph, but to have written it would have done the story a disservice and that's why it's not there. I repeat, shut up: they're my OTP.)

you're great on the highway

Feedback, even drive-by feedback, is a treasure, too.
