Why this must be read: I'm in awe of writers who write love scenes that are hot and romantic and spellbinding all at the same time. Though there's so much more than that to this story, though some might see this as little more than a PWP, it's that part that stays with me afterwards, the almost lyrical quality of their coming together. Yet Napoleon is still Napoleon and Illya is still Illya; no shrinking violets here. I guess that's what makes it so great.

Wow — that was one of the greatest first-time scenes I’ve ever read. Good pick!

I don't know that I'd ever see this as a PWP because in my mind there is a plot. This story is about so much more than just the two of them tumbling into bed; the primary interest is in the emotions.

It brings a lump to my throat.

What a fabulous story this is. Every time I read it I bitch at Katya because she only wrote a few MfU stories. Sigh.
::going off to bitch at her again::

I believe she is deeply enmeshed with Stargate Atlantis right now. Sadly.
