Why this must be read:
This is a lovely view of what John was thinking of and feeling for Aeryn in the The Way We Weren’t, which is one of my all-time favorite episodes (and for which there are major spoilers). John is so very much in love with Aeryn Sun, and that love comes through in vivid technicolor here. I always enjoy seeing a beloved character through another’s eyes, and for that alone I would’ve enjoyed this fic, but the author has written John’s voice so well that you don’t even notice right away that this fic is all about Aeryn.
