This is bittersweet and haunting, with remarkable character interactions -- pre-mutiny Jack Sparrow is hard to write, and we've never met William Turner, and we'll never met Will's mother, and the idea of them all in bed together, to tell the truth, makes my head spin. This story makes my head spin in a totally different way, a very good way.
