DC Comics/House (PG)

Title: Making the Rounds by Poison Ivory
Pairing: N/A
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] poisonivory
Author Website: Non-DC fic at Tickety Boo; DC at [livejournal.com profile] _ticketyboo and user's LJ
Why this must be read:

Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital: meet the Teen Titans. Oh, except they're not the Teen Titans; they're just a bunch of random kids. That whole thing where they got caught up in an explosion, but aren't showing any injuries? That was just luck.

Really.

Honest!

House. Horny teen superheroes. There is nothing here not to love.

Making the Rounds

::happy sigh:: I've read this ficlet five times and each time it makes me laugh soooo much.

Really, there just aren't enough House/DCU crossovers ;)

Oh hell, yes!

That was the good crack.

There need to be more House/metapeople crossovers.

Sure, actually it may be sooner than I expected. I'm trying to write an essay but all I've got is Tyler's dialogue running through my head:

"Does anyone know what this is?" Miss Kyle said in her quiet "don't-interrupt-the-people-who-are working" voice.
"Ooh ooh! I know - it's a toaster, or maybe a GALLOPING big sunbed."
"Not quite, Zodon," the teacher's smile had not even slipped at the Zodon's fourth sarcastic tirade of the day; it was ten o'clock, he was well behind on his quota. "Anyone else?"
"It's pretty."
"Yes it is Suzy, but do you know what it's called?"
"Nope." The bespectacled girl replied cheerfully.
"It's an fMRI scanner," Tyler said quietly, "it uses magnetic radiation to look at people's brains, then you can see pictures of what's going on."

The lady doctor who had smiled at them when they came in looked up,
"You've seen one of these before, sweetie?"
"Yeah, Mom and Dad made me spend a few hours in one last year. They wanted to see if I'd develop... um, if I was normal."
The tall scruffy man in the corner looked up from his toy.
"Were you?"
"Uh, yeah..."
"Darn."
The doctor glared at the scruffy guy, but he just stared back, wide-eyed, so she sighed and turned back to the MRI.

It's going to be fun when I get time to sit down properly and write it!
