Why this must be read: It’s snowing (in New York, at least), which means it’s time to break out Nyssa’s fabulous “The Winter Wonderland Affair.” A freak blizzard and some opportunely-misplaced communicators strand Illya and Napoleon in a Georgia hotel—the perfect opportunity to indulge in the new wrinkle recently formed in their partnership. Illya angsts a bit (but not too much; it’s a good thing) while Napoleon makes Snow Cream and preaches on conserving natural resources. Nyssa’s voices are right on; the accusations fly in quick rejoinders, and I love her falsely-reluctant Illya and her incredibly indulgent Napoleon (it’s so wonderful when an author makes him nice!) So curl up with a cup of hot chocolate (or some Snow Cream) and enjoy some hotness and angst on a cold day! Let it snow!

Isn't it just? I fancied Illya myself but I have no time at all for Solo-bashing fics, because canonically that's a nice, civilised, humane guy. thanks for this one1
