Pairing: Starsky/Hutch

Why this must be read: Hutch's nephew came for a visit and he let loose a little secret that Hutch was keeping under wraps. Starsky's not sure he even knows his partner anymore. Why would Hutch keep this secret from him? Why couldn't he be trusted?

"Why didn't you tell me?" Starsky asked, startled at the unbidden words coming out of his mouth.

"Tell you what?"

Starsky took a deep breath, knowing there was no going back. "That you're bi? I'm your partner, Hutch. Damn it, you're my best friend and you keep something like this from me!"

A case of gay-bashing makes everything more complicated. Who are we, really? And who can we trust? It's a question they must ask themselves if they want to move forward.

I've always liked this story. Glad you recommended it.

However, I always wished the author has written a sequel so we could see later on how Starsky & Hutch deal with them being "out" at the station.
