Til Death by Speedbump (PG)

Fandom:FARSCAPE
Pairing: John/Aeryn
Author on LJ: unknown
Author Website: unknown although it is archived on Red Beard’s Archive.
Why this must be read:

This is an older story and one of the first I ever read in Farscape fandom. Because the memory function of Crack Van is not available and there are over 220 stories rec’d, I’m taking a chance that no one has recommended this story in a long time. Picture a race, a hive mind, constructed out of whole cloth and completely believable. Now picture Aeryn, grieving because she thinks Joihn is dead. What would she do? Now, picture John, grieving because he is dying and can’t find Aeryn and only has the hive mind to communicate with. Now, how does love play out? I love this story for its angst, grief, joy, and the aliens Speedbump created.

It has, in fact, never been rec'd at all - thank you for this find! I'm fairly new to the fandom and older stories like this are a real treasure!

FYI, the memory function gives error messages for me about half the time I try to access it, but if I do a reload, most of the time it will come up. Or go back a few minutes later. I'm not sure what the problem is - perhaps it has to do with LiveJournal traffic at the exact moment.

Thanks for the rec! I hadn't seen this one before, and I really enjoyed it.
