I know--when I searched the crossover list, I was surprised. But in the big fandoms, a rec'er can make only one crossover rec, so maybe that limited opportunity, plus fact that the crossover recs can only be posted on the 15th day of the month, is why.

In addition to being a great story in its own right, this is the crossover that spurred me into tracking down Lois McMaster Bujold's books and first reading the Vorkosigan series, just because I wanted to read more about these people. It really deserves the rec and it catches the voices and flavour of the books really well.

However I would suggest that anyone who hasn't yet done so reads Lust over Pendle before reading this fic -- although Time Shall Not Mend is a prequel, I think that anyone who only knows Harry Potter canon might be bemused by the characterisation of Draco and Neville here. Lust over Pendle is set later in their timeline, but includes a lot of back story that shows how they have got to this point. (And really, reading Lust over Pendle shouldn't be a hardship for anyone.)

Yeah, I agree completely. That's why I posted the link to A.J. Hall's suggested reading order, and labeled this Draco/Neville preslash even though there's barely a hint of it in this crossover trilogy.
