Why this must be read:
Quark is a character who sneaks up on you. I certainly wasn't prepared to like him, but somehow I came to love the little capitalist and I wanted to rec at least one story with him this month. While my favorite of Selena's stories starring Quark has already been rec'ed, I searched through her other stories and found this wonderful gem to talk about instead.
Two of Us looks at the relationship between Quark and Dax over the years. It's a great look at both characters. Seeing Jadzia through Quark's eyes provides a nice exploration of her character, while Quark's feelings for Dax ring wonderfully true.
