Why this must be read:

It's rare to find a fic that's hot, clever and funny too. A trip to the movies to see 1980s Hair'n'HoYay vampire classic "The Lost Boys" turns steamy as Clark realises there's more to this movie than meets the eye. Te pokes some goodnatured fun at fandom as Lex gives a masterclass in how to read cinematic subtext that would make any slasher proud. Once Clark gets a clue as to what's up (fnarr!), Lex gets to give a masterclass of a whole other kind. The dialogue here is great - funny, flirty, knowing - and the whole thing is as hot as all hell.

I'm not 100% sure, but it's possible that it's the first SV fic I ever read. I love it as much as Lex loves Clark. I'm stunned it hasn't been recced yet. I'm looking forward to this gig, I can tell ya *rubs hands gleefully*
