This story reminds me of a really good movie out of the Golden Age of Hollywood, like Chloe and Lex would be friends of Nick and Nora Charles, or something. Stylish, sexy, and smart -- both the characters and the story itself. It's cute, fun, and delightfully absent of the extraneous romantic stuff -- and dead on in a meta sort of way that still remains true to the characters and their universe.
