Why this must be read: This is, by in large, a serious fandom. That's not necessarily a bad thing - there are some fandoms I know of that could probably use some seriousness - but sometimes you just want to read some pure, uncut crack, which this fandom hasn't produced a great deal of. I consider that to be a pity, but it does make what has been written in that vein even sweeter.
This piece is worth your time for the costume descriptions alone, and the dialogue is both a complete blast to read and very true to the characters. Go on. I promise it won't hurt.
