Waiting For Mr. Beckett by Daasgrrl (PG)
Fandom: HOUSE
Pairing: House/Wilson
Author on LJ:

Author Website: N/a
Why this must be read: How often do you find a satire that's genuinely entertaining to read? In fandom, no less?
Sometimes humor is written for the sake of being funny, and there's absolultely nothing wrong with that. There are other times when it's written to allow the readers to take a funny look at something in particular - in the case of this story, it's meta, the pairing of House and Wilson, Kafka, the actors' appearances, and modern playwrites, among other things.
This story is not only funny, it's clever, and genuine cleverness is hard to pull off. If you're playing at home, see if you can spot all the references.
