The Crummy Job Affair by Periwinkle27 (G)

Fandom: THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.
Pairing: None, it's gen.
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] periwinkle27
Author website: None, but this story can be found on [livejournal.com profile] muncle and at The Raven's Lair
Why this must be read:

[livejournal.com profile] periwinkle27 makes many contributions to this fandom, chief among them is serving as a frequent recc’er here on [livejournal.com profile] crack_van,

So, it’s about time that she receives a tip of the hat for one of her own stories.
The idea for this one made me laugh as soon as I heard it. So obvious and yet, never done before.

It’s a short piece demonstrating that the life of an U.N.C.L.E. agent is not always as glamorous as it’s cracked up to be. To tell you more would ruin the twist.

Hope it gives you a chuckle as it did me.

Oh thank you so much!
BTW, I've started archiving my stories on Raven's site and I think this is one of the ones I've got over there.

It was sweet of you to rec it. I can't believe how many people fell for it.

It just occurred to me -- I think it was an off-hand remark of yours that triggered the story, wasn't it?
