Hand-Me-Down by Lady Smith (G)
The next bunch of reccs are what I call short and sweet. Sometimes, these gems get overlooked because of their length, yet I find the short form fascinating for all that can be packed into a little space.

Why this must be read:
Sometimes one forgets that there is more to this show than the Strum und Drang (boy I hope I spelled that right - German was an entire lifetime ago) we saw on a weekly basis. It's the quiter moments on Farscape that sometimes are the ones that hurt the best. This is an excellent example of just that. It hints at the deeper relationship between John and Stark with all of it's good and bad. It's a short piece, but it delivers in a way that many long pieces never manage. The author calls it 'fluffy with a side of angst' (or rather that's my interperation of what she actually said. *bg*) and I would have to agree.
Go read, and don't forget to feed the author.
