Title: Unbroken by Capella
Pairing: Fraser/Spike
Author on LJ:
capella_fic
Author Website: Capella's Fiction
Why this must be read:
Everytime I re-read this story, it fills me with awe. Capella absolutely nails all of the voices, especially Spike. (Everytime I read this, I just hear Spike in Lover's Walk. It is like something that Joss wrote - and I mean that as a complement! *g*) It is beautiful, heart-breaking, and humorous. And despite the pairing, (and the amazingly hot sex) this is really a story about Fraser and Ray K, with Spike simply offering his own peculiar brand of relationship therapy. It is a story about love, and forgiveness and second chances. And, you know, Spike/Fraser with handcuffs. That is a really nice icing on this already wonderful cake.
"Benton? What kind of a name is that?" he said slowly.
"The one my parents gave me." There was no trace of emotion in Fraser's voice.
"Ben-ton. Bent-on. So, you're a Mountie. More of a mounter, myself, which makes us a perfect combination."
