Why this must be read:

Anybody who knows me knows one of my favorite "totally not gonna happen, but damn fun anyway" pairings is Jack/Romana. It's the sadistic side of me I think as I find great glee in the idea of Jack running off with Romana. So it was inevitable that a Jack/Romana fic sneak its way into my recs this month and I have so much love for this one. The summary pretty much starts the glee for me:

"A UNIT officer and a Torchwood agent walk out of a bar."

and is quite possibly why I let out a rather girlish squeal when Jack referenced UNIT in an episode. But yes, what would happen if Romana met up with Jack in a bar?
