Hello, everyone -- I'm butterfly and I'll be driving Doctor Who this month. Now, I'm primarily a New Who girl and I'm a big Rose fan, so the focus of my recs will be on the Ninth and Tenth Doctors, but I have had the chance to see all the other Doctors, so I won't be forgetting them over the course of the month!

Why this must be read:

The summary for the story is 'The Doctor makes a slight miscalculation.' Very understated words for what is an incredibly powerful story about the depth of loss and love. There are casting spoilers for season three of Doctor Who, and vague plot spoilers for Doomsday, but the emotion of the story is centered around a pre-Doomsday Rose and she's written strongly here. There's a light element of suspense that remains until the end -- it's a very well-written story and I was sorry not to be able to locate anything else that the author might have written.
