Hi, I'm jenoofer and I'll be your Due South driver for February. I'll admit, I'm a rabid Ray Vecchio fangirl with an urge to pimp some good F/V, but I promise there'll be other recs this month if that's not to your taste.

Why this story must be read: This story meets at least three of my kinks - hand-holding, (seemingly) unrequited love and a liberal dash of heartbreak. Vecchio bringing a picnic to Fraser’s office is a lovely bonus. It's the only story I've found by Renny Ramos (hence the lack of an author website link) and that makes me more than a little sad.

The fingers lingered on Ben's skin, before slipping away to the side. Ray focused his sights on the diner. With a deep sigh, he threaded his fingers through Ben's.

'This is where I tracked you down, remember?' Ray whispered.

'Of course,' Ben replied, wondering how he managed to sound so calm. He felt the shudders of emotion flood his insides.

This is it, he thought. This is half of heaven, coming down to bless his life.
