A Man And A Half, by Trixie Belden (NC-17)
Fandom: Due South
Pairing: Fraser/Vecchio
Author's website: Two stories archived here.
Author on LJ: unknown
Why this story must be read: I'm not usually a fan of smut, so it feels a little bit odd reccommending what seems at first to be PWP. But as well as hot sex, this story has oodles of delicious tension, enough affection to keep it sweet and a moment of almost-but-not-quite-hand-holding that makes my insides melt:
The Mountie licked his lips and his eyes darted around the room. The music was loud and many couples were dancing. There was no one within five metres of the two men. Ben smoothed his eyebrow with his thumb, and then dropped his right hand to his side. Somehow, Ray knew at that instant that he should move his left to the same spot. Ben's little finger twined ever so slightly around Ray's. The touch was barely perceptible, and yet it hit Ray like a lightning bolt. There was his answer.
Oh, and Fraser wears a kilt. If that isn't enough reason to read, I don't know what is.
