This terrific alternate-timeline series follows the major events of season one but with Ray Vecchio as a private investigator rather than a cop. The teenaged Vecchio was sent to prison, leaving him a very broken man by the time he meets the Mountie who's been searching Chicago for his father's killer for almost a year. Introduced to each other by Frank Zuko, who's been helping the Vecchios since Ray's incarceration, they still manage to form that incredible bond while tracking Bob Fraser's killer and dealing with two old flames.
The first part is gen, the second and third parts have some slash content.
