Why this must be read:
This longer fic is one of the outpouring of stories written at the end of S4 in anticipation of S5. This story has plenty of action and scheming, as well as a lovely, gentle hand with the difficult place that Michael and Nikita were in personally at the end of S4. I must say, I much prefer Phoenix's elegant and tightly plotted version to most of what TPBT actually gave us!
