Why this must be read: because I love well-written, believable A/Us and this one is sublime. Picture Michael Rosenbaum working in a Starbucks in Vancouver as he never got the part as Lex Luthor on Smallville. And who is one of his regular customers? Yep, Tom Welling.
The attraction between the two men cannot be denied even across the crowded Starbucks counter and they start dating. However, Michael has a secret and it could destroy or strengthen his new-found relationship with Tom. But will Michael trust Tom enough to tell him? Some deep and compelling things going on in this story besides the overall plot.
I cannot express how wonderfully lush and heartwarming this piece is. Tom and Mike seem 'in character' and just the idea of Michael as a barista...well, I am sorry but that is hot. No wonder Tom falls so hard, so fast.
I have read this one over and over again. It's a keeper and I know you will truly love it.
