Author Website: author's memoried list of fics
Why this must be read:
I'm going to have a hard time talking about this one without spoiling y'all, but I'm going to try.
First of all, it's amazingly good writing. Second, it's got great characterization. The brothers, the car, a road trip. She's got such a fantastic grasp on them, such a wonderful way to bring them alive in her words and just... yes. And without spoiling you too much, let's just say that it's a road trip you'll want to read about because... well. It's an important one. It's an unexpected and thrilling ride, one that nobody should miss. It unfolds slowly but inevitably, with gorgeous writing and atmosphere and spot on voices and I'm repeating myself now, so... just go read it, I'm pretty sure you won't regret it. ;-)
