Something Else by Jaryn (NC-17)
Rounding out this month's recs with a pair of very different stories. (Sorry for spam! Wanted to catch up after going MIA the past few weeks.)

Why this must be read: Considering how ripe House and Wilson are for it, this fandom doesn't have nearly enough dom/sub fic, and it certainly doesn't have enough good dom/sub fic.jaryn_'s "Something Else" is a shining exception. After the events of "Cane and Able," House convinces Wilson to become his servant for a week—and things progress. There is cohabitation. There is spanking. There is dominant!House ordering Wilson to do delicious things I won't go into detail about here. There is on-the-couch and up-against-the-wall and tied-to-the-bed action. Most of all, there is beautiful, beautiful tension as House comes to terms with what he wants from Wilson, and good characterization. (There are some grammar issues, but they're more than compensated for.) In short, Jaryn does a fine job of showing how a relationship like this could work between House and Wilson, and he writes some darn hot kinky slash.

Wilson glanced at House and then looked away again, clenching his jaw. “You were…right.”
“I always am,” House replied flippantly. “Hence why you need to be a little more specific.”
“You were right about…” Wilson grimaced and rubbed at the back of his neck before throwing his hand up in the air, “That I…like it. Giving up control.”
There was a stretch of empty silence. House dropped his chin, purposefully keeping his expression neutral. “Is that why you’re here, to give up control?” House asked. “To me?”
