Why this must be read:
Tony is hurting. The child murderer NCIS caught this afternoon killed three kids, and the oldest was only three years old. All Tony wants to do is get stinking drunk and then have sex, but unfortunately the only person with him is Gibbs and he doesn't look like a possibility. But Gibbs is more than willing to get drunk with Tony and talk, and they learn some surprising things about each other, while we see Tony struggle with his sorrow and try to express his emotions to Gibbs.
Warning, there is a lot of swearing and use of the f-word in this story, but it's exactly what a former cop and marine would do in private conversation.
Sinking down with a deep sigh, Gibbs held out his hand for one of the beers DiNozzo had brought. “You sure you want to do this DiNozzo? We’re just this side of buzzed now; we chase a few Schnapps with these beers, and then fucked up won’t even be close to it. Not to mention the hangovers we’ll be nursing when we wake up.”
“Doubt you’re even close to buzzed Boss. And it's not that I want to get blasted, but I need to," he emphasized. "It’s probably the only way I’m going to get those pictures out of my head. "
