Why this must be read:
And now for something a little different. I started out in the fandom reading Viggorli, and I have since moved on. But some stories stick with you, and this is one of them.
The authors called it different. They weren't kidding about different. I don't think I've read anything quite like this before, the narration, the concept. It's...POWERFUL. Wow.
“Oh no,” she muttered as she blinked at the screen a few times, the scene becoming more clear. It was a young man sitting on a bed in a dimly lit room, just in his boxers. She gulped and he turned his head to look toward the camera almost as if he had heard her. A view of his face showed that he was young, probably only in his early twenties.
“Don’t,” he sighed in a low, velvety voice that sent shivers down the girl’s spine. He had a troubled look on his face, brows knit and lower lip between his teeth uncertainly. “Come on, don’t.”
He was long and lithe, knees up against his chest, arms wrapped tightly around himself. A pang of familiarity ran through the girl's body, but she couldn't quite place the young man.
His skull was nearly bare; the sides naked and the very top adorned with long curly mahogany hair. It would have looked silly on anyone else, but itjust added to the exotic quality of the man. His eyes were a deep brown, and though the video quality wasn't that great, she could tell he was flushing madly.
