guede_mazaka; she likes them too. I found her through various Johnny Depp–related fandoms (Once upon a Time in Mexico, PotC, Sleepy Hollow), but I knew that sooner or later she’d have to write about the Winchester boys, because…well, re-read that first sentence.

Here, she applies the “five things” meme to season one. Warning: even by the standards of this author and this fandom, this is a dark piece of work.

He just keeps driving and driving. The sky never gets any darker or any lighter—just stays bloody. Sam gets used to it. He gets used to it, to the cramp in his pedal foot, the ice in his chest, the tightness of the muscles around his jaw and eyes, and soon he doesn’t even notice it. Soon he glances over at the passenger seat and someone’s there and it seems like they’ve always been there.

“Been waiting a long, long time for you, Sammy,” they say.
